Planning a Benidorm stag do for 2025 or 2026? Great choice!

Benidorm is set to be our most popular destination and it’s easy to see why (it’s one big party from the minute you land to the second you leave!).

Have a scroll below at some of our most frequently asked questions and get in the know about one of Europe’s best stag do destinations.

Top Benidorm FAQs

Is Benidorm good for a stag do?

If you’re looking for sun, sand, ice-cold beers, and an unrivalled party atmosphere, Benidorm is perfect. It’s like it was built for stag dos. If you go for three days, four days, five days – whatever – you’ll be guaranteed a cracking time from start to finish.

What are the must-see attractions on a big Benidorm weekend?

Benidorm is mainly about the bars and the beaches, but there are a few other things that are worth a look. At the end of Levante Beach (Benidorm’s main beach), you’ll find Balcón del Mediterráneo which is a great place for a stag photo. You’ll also be right by Benidorm Old Town which has some traditional bars that are worth a visit. Be sure to check out our hitlist of things to do in Benidorm for adults in 2025 for the latest and greatest offerings.

When to Go FAQs

What is the best time of year to go to Benidorm?

Over 70% of our groups heading to Benidorm go between April and June. With Beni, it’s only worth going when the Strip is open, so winter is a no-go. April to June is ideal as the weather will be hot (but not too hot) and the party will be popping off.

Is Benidorm good for a stag in March or April?

Benidorm’s stag season starts from the beginning of March. Whilst peak season will be June onwards, March and April are still a great time to go and, often, it will be a lot cheaper. For the best weather and the best party vibes, we’d advise heading there in June, July, August and September.

Benidorm Nightlife FAQs

Where are the best nightlife spots in Benidorm?

If you’re looking to dive straight into the best nightlife action, you simply have to go to the Strip. Calle Gerona is located in the New Town and has loads of top bars and pubs to suit all vibes. The Square (Avenida Mallorca) runs through the Strip, too, so be sure to have a wander along there. Check out our Benidorm nightlife advice blog for 2025 for the latest info.

What are the best bars in Benidorm for stags?

It depends on what you’re after. Nightclub that stays open til 5 am? You want Insomnia. A chilled beach bar for a quiet pint? KU Bar or Tiki Beach are great options. Live sports? Shamrock Irish Bar. Seriously, whatever your vibe, Benidorm has a bar to fit. Check out our rundown of the best stag do bars in Benidorm for 2025 for our favourites.

Is Benidorm a party city?

Benidorm is up there with the best party cities in Europe. It’s down to earth. It has great bars, it has cheap beers and drinks deals, plus there are plenty of places to get a hangover-conquering breakfast in the morning – the mark of a good party city.

Is a night out expensive in Benidorm?

Benidorm is something of an overachiever when it comes to a night out – accessible, available and affordable! With a beer costing as little as €1 in some places and often no entrance fees, you’ll get a lot of bang for your buck here.

Is Benidorm cheap for alcohol?

Yes and no. During the day, you can pick up a beer for as little as €1.50, but you can expect the drinks to be slightly more expensive in and around the Square and the Strip in the evening.

What time do bars shut in Benidorm?

Most bars in Benidorm will be open way past 3 a.m. and some will still be open when the sun comes up. Is there still any doubt that Benidorm is a colossal party city?

Do activities & bars allow fancy dress in Benidorm?

Benidorm is a lot more relaxed when it comes to fancy dress than a lot of destinations. However, you should definitely check in advance, so you don’t get turned away. All of our activities above will say what you need to wear but speak to your Destination Specialist if you’re not sure.

Walking – Most of Benidorm is easy enough to walk around, but you have options if you need to travel a little bit further.

Taxi – There are a few taxi firms that operate in Benidorm – when you book with StagWeb, you’ll get a taxi card provided in your welcome pack. Radio Taxi is a reputable firm, so keep your eyes out for these guys.

Bus – There is a local bus service (blue and white) which has around 20 routes that connect different points of town to the surrounding areas. Tickets cost €1.50 for a standard fare but it may be more worthwhile to purchase a 24-hour ticket.

How to Get to Benidorm…

What Airport to Fly To…

For those who’ve never been to Benidorm, you fly to Alicante Airport.

Most UK airports offer flights here, but please check beforehand (you’d be surprised how many people forget to check!).

How Long is the Flight from the UK?

It can take between 2.5-3 hours to get to Alicante Airport from the UK.

Not bad for guaranteed sun and an insane party scene.
