StagWeb Go To Benidorm

by

At StagWeb, we pride ourselves on the fact that we visit our destinations to ensure you get the best advice possible.

So, when the time came to head back to Benidorm, Simon, StagWeb’s Benidorm Destination Specialist, was out the door and on the plane faster than we could say: “… and put it on the company!”

Unlucky, Simo!

Anyway, here’s what he found out on a wild three days finding out everything we needed to know about a Benidorm stag do

The Things You NEED to Know 👀

  • You can get a pint of beer for around €2.50 (winner!)
  • A lot of bars offer a welcome shot
  • For a more relaxed vibe, head to the bars along the beachfront
  • A private transfer from the airport (that we can arrange) only takes 35 minutes

How was it getting to Benidorm?

“Not too bad at all. It’s only a two-and-a-half-hour flight from Bristol, so you’re not too tired when you get the other end.

“From the airport, we got a private transfer to the centre.

“It only took 35 minutes and I’d recommend getting a transfer, which we can organise, rather than a coach as they tend to stop at loads of different hotels.”

What were your first impressions?

“Benidorm is famous for the high rises which just come out of nowhere, so you know when you’ve arrived.

“We got there at 17:45 and the streets were already busy with people enjoying themselves. I couldn’t believe how packed they were, but hey, I guess that’s Benidorm.”

Tell us about the food and booze! 🍔🍺

“The nightlife is next level.

“There are so many places to eat and drink, it’s not hard to find somewhere to party.

“A lot of bars will offer you a welcome shot on arrival, so make sure you ask if they don’t!”

Breakfast Options…

“If you can get up in the morning, Aromas British Café or The Brunch Box do a mean breakfast.”

  • Aromas British Café – Avinguda Alcoi, 2, 03503 Benidorm (near Old Town)
  • The Brunch Box – Av. Del Mediterráneo, 47, 03503, Benidorm (near Levante)

Chilled Drinks…

“For a more relaxed drink, you’ll need to head down to the beachfront where there are plenty of restaurants and bars.

“Le Mejillonera, Llum del Mar, and La Bahia offer a more relaxed vibe.”

  • Le Mejillonera – Pg. de la Carretera, 16, 03501 Benidorm
  • Llum del Mar – Plaça de Sant Jaume, 1, 03500 Benidorm
  • La Bahia – Av. De Madrid, 19, 03505 Benidorm

Best Bars…

“The best bar for me was Tiki Beach just because of the location right on the beachfront and the great music and nice drinks.

“For any fans of the TV series Benidorm, visit Morgan Tavern which is Neptune’s on the show.

“Some other bars of note would be Jokers, which is the bar crawl starting point, or Chaplins which is the home of crazy shows.”

  • Tiki Beach – Av. De Madrid, 14, 03503 Benidorm
  • Morgan Tavern – C.Gerona, 42, 03503 Benidorm
  • Jokers – C/ Filipinas Esquina C/ Lepanto, 03505 Benidorm
  • Chaplins – Av. De Mallorca, 4, 03501 Benidorm

How easy was it to get around?

“Benidorm is easy to get around.

“You can walk to most areas, so I’d recommend this during the day and evening. There are e-scooters available to rent which don’t cost more than a few euros. And if you need to get further afield, by booking with us, you’ll get a taxi card provided in your welcome pack.”

Benidorm Hotel Marina
We stayed in the 4-star Hotel Marina.

Where’s the best place to stay?

“I stayed at the Hotel Marina, a four-star hotel bang in the middle of Benidorm, so an ideal location for hen and stag parties, which they’re happy to take.

“Please be aware there is a behavioural deposit of €150 which is needed for each guest. This doesn’t leave your account, though, they just put a reserve on it.

“You will be given a wristband to the pool area which has two bars and a big screen showing the footy and rugby, etcetera.

“If you head out of the rear of the hotel, you’ll see Broadway and The Queen’s Arms in front of you which are really popular bars.

“This place is a bit more pricey than other accommodation options, but if your budget allows for it, I’d recommend staying here. If you go for somewhere cheaper, I’d still suggest looking for somewhere as close to the centre as possible.”

  • Broadway – C. Gerona, 32, 03503 Benidorm
  • Queen’s Arms – C. Gerona, 27, 03503 Benidorm

Benidorm go karting
Go karting is popular in Benidorm.

Favourite Benidorm activity?

“If you want some time away from the bars, Go Karting is one of the most popular options in Benidorm.

“You’re presented with an impressive outdoor track which is around 1 minute 2 seconds a lap – at least, that was my time, anyway.

“It’s a short drive out of Benidorm, but transfers are included so you won’t have to worry about getting there.”

Any final thoughts?

“As a destination, Benidorm ticks a lot of boxes, so I would highly recommend it for a stag.

“You can do it cheap, but you can also treat yourself if you want some nice accommodation without breaking the bank.”
