The Best Time to Go
According to our stats, 60% of stags who went to Dusseldorf in 2023 with us went there between June and August.
These months are popular because it's peak sun, so you can enjoy all those delicious German brews in the beer gardens.
Dusseldorf isn't a huge family holiday destination either, so the price rises during the school holidays aren't too severe.
However, the great thing about this city is that it's great all year round, so whenever you go, you'll have a blast!
How Long Do People Go For?
Over a third of our stags went for 3 days (2 nights).
The flight duration is short (1-1.5 hours), the city is compact, and it's perfect for those weekend trips.
You don't need much time to explore Dusseldorf's wonders (and beers), so we'd say two nights is enough.
How Soon Do People Book?
People think they can get away with booking Dusseldorf last minute because it's so close, but we'd advise people to book at least six months in advance to avoid missing out on the best activities and hotels.
Why risk it?
Where to Stay in Dusseldorf
Why would you want to stay miles out of town and have to spend your hard-earned euros on taxis just to get to where the party's at?!

The key word in that sentence is: 'stag-friendly'.
Not every hotel in the city will be. Don't risk getting turned away on the day - book through StagWeb to avoid any hassle.

How to Get to Dusseldorf...
What Airport to Fly to...
You'll need to fly to Dusseldorf Airport.
Most major airports fly here but check in advance to avoid any slip-ups.
How Long is the Flight from the UK?
It takes anywhere from 1 to 1.5 hours to fly to Dusseldorf from the UK.
Now that's a short flight.
You'll be drinking your first German brew in no time.
Getting from the Airport to Dusseldorf...
The airport is just 8.7km from Dusseldorf city centre, so it would take about 25 minutes to get there (depending on traffic).
The S-Bahn is a popular, quick, and affordable way to reach the city centre. You can catch the train from the airport and be in the city centre in about 30 minutes with the journey costing around €3.
A taxi will cost around €28 to the city centre which isn't too bad when you've split it with the guys, however, because the airport is very busy, an available taxi could be hard to come by.
If you want to avoid the crowded trains or the long waiting times, StagWeb can arrange a private airport transfer which will pick you up from the terminal and take you straight to your accommodation.
Add this to your Dusseldorf stag enquiry by ticking the box at the bottom and we'll include it in your free quote!
Tips On Getting Around Dusseldorf

Walking - Dusseldorf is brilliant to explore on foot. If you're planning on catching the sights and strolling from bar to bar, this is the best way.
